Schneiders Sporthorses strives to breed and acquire horses for the serious dressage rider both amateur and professional. Several of our horses were imported from Europe from top breeders familiar with the bloodlines that were producing horses successful in international competition. Our first acquisition, Royal Affair, had competed successfully at the Central American Games in 2010. Acquired as a 10-year old in 2012, he continued to show at the small tour level with significant success at the 2014 Central American Games and the 2015 Pan American Games as the sole competitor from Puerto Rico.
After Royal Affair, we centered our attention on younger horses for development with the one exception of Reel Adventure, a Hanoverian who was competing successfully at Prix St. Georges and Intermediaire Classes for a top amateur. Reel Adventure was principally acquired to be the personal horse for Charles Schneider, the owner of Schneiders Sporthorses, an enthusiast but a rider with limited experience. Not surprising, Reel Adventure, has continued to compete with both amateur and professional riders achieving high marks since his acquisition.
The horses in this section are all being carefully and expertly developed with the intent that they will compete at the highest level of the sport. Nonetheless, our horses are suitable for the talented amateur rider as well.
